Lithuanian Foreign Minister to meet with U.S. Secretary of State in Vilnius

On 7 September in Vilnius, the Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Linas Linkevičius will meet with the U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry. The bilateral meeting will discuss the situation in the Middle East and issues related to Lithuania’s Presidency of the EU Council.

Kerry’s two-day visit will include a meeting with the President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė. In Vilnius, the U.S. Secretary of State will also participate in the informal meeting of EU Ministers of Foreign Affairs (Gymnich).

Media Advisory: Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Linas Linkevičius and the U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will give a press conference after the meeting on 7 September at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania.
Journalists wishing to attend the press conference are kindly requested to arrive at the MFA at 12:45 a.m., 7 September. Those who arrive late or not registered will not be allowed to enter due to safety reasons.
