On 24–25 October, the meeting of the Directors of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration of the EU (DISPA) entitled Leadership, Ethics, and Motivation in Public Administration: Challenges and the Search for an Adequate Response will take place in Vilnius. The meeting is organized by the Lithuanian Institute of Public Administration. The mission of this network of educational institutions is to share good experiences and practices, to establish cooperation in preparing new training and traineeship programmes and conducting research.

During the meeting, the network’s members will discuss important areas of public administration competence training such as leadership, corruption prevention, the motivation of civil servants, traineeship in the EU, and the European through-peer learning programme. The event should also cover the implementation of the Lean Government (government which removes on-going activities and offices that do not create value in the work process) principles in the public sector.

Representatives of the European Institute of Public Administration, the European School of Administration, and heads of Lithuanian institutions will also participate.
